Karcher, a world leader in innovative cleaning technology solutions, is showcasing some of its ultra-high-pressure vacuum cleaners to key players in the Middle East defence industry during the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (Idex) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event will run until February 26, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Richard Nouira, managing director of Karcher Middle East, said: “The event offers an ideal platform for product manufacturers and suppliers to tap into the huge business opportunities that abound in the regional defence market.”

“Military equipment such as vehicles and aircrafts need regular maintenance to improve their performance and safety, as well as increase the life span of parts,” he said.

“As a result, powerful pressure washer machines are essential in removing dirt, grime and grease build-up that could compromise the efficiency of these physical assets,” he added.

During Idex, Karcher will showcase its portfolio of cold and hot water ultra-high-pressure cleaners, including the Woma Ultra High Pressure Pump, which can be used for the de-coating, surface preparation, de-rusting and cleaning of mobile vehicles and naval vessels.

Also on display are Karcher’s High-Pressure Hot Water Washer, which is ideal for cleaning aircrafts; while the Dry-Ice Blasting System can be used for cleaning oil and grease crust from highly technological and sophisticated parts. In addition, the Karcher Ride-on Vacuum Sweepers are an economical and effective solution to cleaning large surfaces such as military bases and facilities.

“All our products have built-in cleaning technology that promotes efficiency, ergonomics and environmental sustainability. Our cleaning machines’ engines conform to the latest European Union directives and very high global environmental standards,” Nouira added.

Idex is a biennial event that attracts more than 80,000 global attendees comprising decision makers from within the defence industry, representatives from governments and armed forces and senior military personnel from all over the world.
