The Oshkosh Corporation, a leading industrial company that designs and builds specialty trucks, military vehicles, truck bodies and access equipment, has agreed to a contract to help maintain 750 all-terrain trucks for the armed forces in the UAE.

The $235 million contract was announced recently at the International Defense Exhibition (Idex) in Abu Dhabi, said a report in The Drive.

Oshkosh sold the vehicles to the UAE in 2013. The new contract will provide technical support and maintenance of the vehicles, using numerous parts and services.

The trade conference is the same one where Oshkosh unveiled a new all-terrain military ambulance, it added.
