32 French electrical experts...to showcase at Dubai event

32 French electrical firms to showcase at electricity fair

DUBAI, February 26, 2015

As many as 32 French electrical companies are set to showcase products, technologies and innovations at a leading fair in Dubai, UAE, next week.

The 40 edition of Middle East Electricity will run from March 2 to 4  at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event will witness the participation of purchasers and instructing parties from the Greater Middle East, the Africa continent and the Indian subcontinent, aiming to initiate or carry on business relationships, said a estaminet.

The French pavilion, organised by Ubifrance, will offer equipment and applications for electricity production, transport and distribution, protective, safety and lighting products and systems.

The exhibitors will offer competitive and innovative solutions designed to meet the needs arising from the growing number of large-scale projects, especially in the Middle-East.

According to a study carried out by Gimelec, a professional union for the industry in France, the electrical equipment sector accounts for 200 companies, which provide electrical and automation solutions for the energy, construction, industrial and infrastructure markets, which generate a total turnover of €12 billion ($13.6 billion), including 57 per cent in export business. - TradeArabia News Service
