Leroux ...... an exciting new challenge

Dentons intellectual property expert joins Dubai office

DUBAI, April 7, 2015

Isabelle Leroux, partner in Dentons Intellectual Property and Technology group (IP&T), will now divide her time between Paris and Dubai offices.

Leroux will continue advising French and international clients in France, and will also focus on growing Dentons Middle East IP&T practice, said a statement.

A recognised intellectual property lawyer (patents, brands, designs, models, copyrights, competition, new technologies), Leroux is also very active in the fields of unfair competition and new technologies, it added.

She handles contracts, audits, pre-litigation, litigation and arbitration. Recently appointed chair of the International Chamber of Commerce's trade secret taskforce, she is also registered on the OMPI’s list of arbitrators and belongs to numerous professional associations, it further stated.

Leroux said: “This is an exciting new challenge that my team and I have been eager to take on. It means that not only can we also better support our French clients in their Middle East ventures, but we are well placed to advise new Middle Eastern clients who are considering developing their businesses in France or Europe.”

Michael Kerr, managing partner, Middle East, Dentons, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Isabelle to the Middle East.”

“The region is seeing increasing activity by many global businesses for whom strong IP expertise will be essential. Isabelle's arrival is a great example of how Dentons expertise across the globe can help our clients wherever they operate,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
