MANAMA, June 17, 2015

APM Terminals Bahrain, the operator of Khalifa Bin Salman Port, has appointed Sunil Joseph as its chief commercial officer.

Prior to joining APM Terminals, Joseph spent more than 18 years in Maersk Line, serving in several senior executive positions, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

From 2008 to 2013, he served as managing director of Saudi Cluster, where he was responsible for Maersk Line and Safmarine Container Lines activities in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen.

"The appointment of Sunil Joseph is a strategic decision in executing the next phase of our growth, as we deliver to our customers and partners increasing benefits," APM Terminals Bahrain chief executive Marco Neelsen said.

"With more than 20 years of proven track record, in-depth knowledge of the region, combined with wide-ranging industry experience, we expect Joseph to be pivotal to the commercial success of APM Terminals Bahrain's portfolio, and wish him all the success in his new role," he added. - TradeArabia News Service
