Emerson opens new factory in Saudi

DAMMAM, September 4, 2015

Emerson Climate Technologies has opened a new facility at the Second Industrial Zone of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, according to a report.

The 3,000-sq-m facility has been fully equipped to produce and assemble various refrigeration condensing units specifically for the Saudi Arabian market, said the Saudi Gazette report.

Additional product lines and services beyond condensing units can be accommodated within the new manufacturing facility, it said.

"The Middle East & Africa is a key geographical region for Emerson Climate Technologies,” Bob Sharp, executive vice resident, Emerson Business Leader, Emerson Climate Technologies, was quoted as saying.

"And a regional focus is an important part of our strategy. This is our second manufacturing facility in the region, and we are confident it will help deliver value for our customers in Saudi Arabia,” he added.
