Top firms to attend ME cleaning technology event

DUBAI, September 17, 2015

The Middle East Cleaning Technology Week is on schedule to grow by 30 per cent this year.
 
The international exhibition, which will run from November 2 to 4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will attract some of the biggest global names dedicated to machines, technologies, products and services within the cleaning and hygiene industry. 
 
Through its a three trade shows - Clean Middle East Pulire Expo 2015, Gulf Car Wash-Car Care Expo and Gulf Laundrex-Linen Care Expo, conferences, awards and associated events, the exhibition continues to grow with more than 80 per cent of the show area already being booked.  
 
This year there will be a huge presence of foreign exhibitors at the show. Companies from the US, UK, Italy, and Germany have already confirmed their participation.
 
The highlight of the show will be the display of innovative sustainable technologies across all facets of the cleaning and hygiene industry, the car care industry and the laundry industry, said the statement.
 
This is an extraordinary exhibition, which boasts of bringing together under one roof, all verticals of the cleaning industry, it said.
 
Additionally, the exhibition has also received support from the Dubai Municipality, who will be promoting their vision of creating a cleaner Dubai. 
 
The civic body will emphasise on its commitment and innovative approach to sustainability and environmental issues.
 
Jayaraman Nair, chairman, VIS - organiser of the week, said: “As Dubai works toward being one of the most sustainable cities in the world by 2020, the Middle East Cleaning Technology Week is another step towards achieving this goal. The cleaning and hygiene industry has the potential to grow tremendously and we live in a time of extraordinary opportunity. 
 
"Our exhibitors will showcase practical technologies that they have developed, with revolutionary potential for replication and scale-up.”
 
MECTW will largely focus on eco-sustainability and progress in terms of saving water and energy across all verticals of the cleaning and hygiene industry, said the statement.
 
Keeping costs of service to a minimum while reducing consumption of water and energy are crucial issues in the Middle East region, it said.
 
Moreover, the exhibition will forge a bond between the industries represented at the show and the visitors most related to them - from the car care industry to automobile companies; from laundering services to the professional hospitality industry; from facility management to building maintenance services. 
 
Other additions that one can look out for at the MECTW are the special pavilion for pest management and specialised cleaning services, hosted buyers programmes, outdoor demo area for street cleaning, waste handling equipment and car wash equipment, International Cleaning and Hygiene Conference, Pest Management Seminar, Laundry and Dry Cleaning Seminar and the Car Wash and Car Care Seminar. - TradeArabia News Service
