Alba, Fabs Bahrain sign MoU for new batch of MBA students

MANAMA, November 8, 2015

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has showed commitment for the development of its employees by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with French Arabian Business School (Fabs) Bahrain, for a new batch of MBA students.

The selected employees will undergo an 18-month MBA programme - offered by FABS - Bahrain, in partnership with the ESSEC Business School, one of Europe’s leading business schools, said a statement from the company.

The MoU was signed during a ceremony that was held on November 5, at the Arabian Gulf University, which witnessed the presence of key officials from FABS - Bahrain, Alba and the new batch of MBA students, it said.

During the ceremony, Alba’s chief executive officer, Tim Murray, was also appreciated by Dr Khalid Abdul Rahman Al Ohaly, the president of Arabian Gulf University, it added.

Tim Murray, Alba’s CEO, said: “We believe nothing is more valuable than education and, for our company to continue being a leader in the industry we need to continuously develop our people.”

“The MBA sponsorship programme is a key part of our overall training and development strategy, which provides our high potential employees a full range of business skills they need to compete in a competitive global market,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
