Gulf Craft showcases three new luxury yachts in Qatar

DOHA, March 30, 2016

Gulf Craft, a leading a manufacturer of luxury yachts and leisure boats, is displaying three of its latest models at an ongoing exclusive preview being held at The Pearl, in Doha, Qatar.

The event which kicked off today (March 30), will run until April 1.

The display includes two new superyachts from the shipyard’s Majesty Yachts brand, and an oceangoing yacht model from its long-range Nomad Yachts series, said a statement from the company.

The GCC-based shipyard leads Qatar’s market share for leisure craft, now accounting for 50 per cent of domestic purchases – a growth of 10 percentage points from last year that has been bolstered by the company’s capacity to manufacture reliable, seagoing craft and its ability to deliver unprecedented levels of customer service, it said.

More than 10 yachts and boats from the distinguished builder’s expanding fleet of Majesty Yachts, Nomad Yachts, Oryx sport cruisers, and Silvercraft fishing and family boats were presented at the private event, it added.

The 5th edition of Gulf Craft’s exclusive preview in Qatar follows on the heels of the company’s successful global launch of the three new yachts at the Dubai International Boat Show, where it generated more than Dh80 million ($22 million) in sales across its comprehensive portfolio of world-class yachts and boats, said the statement.

Demonstrating the shipyard’s commitment to innovation, the new Majesty 110 and the Majesty 90 superyachts both combine powerful engineering and advanced technology with immaculate design, echoing premium craftsmanship in every detail, from leather furnishings and parquet flooring found in the main saloons through to the marble countertops in the suite staterooms, it added.

A unique venture into the world of tri-deck (three decks), the Majesty 110 has abundant outdoor and indoor entertainment features and numerous amenities, including a spacious garage that is large enough to store a dinghy and a Jet Ski. Meanwhile, the ample space on-board the Majesty 90 enables passengers to move effortlessly inside and outside the superyacht, giving owners the chance to customise the fly-bridge to either fit a dinghy, Jet Ski, or an even larger seating area, and offering breath-taking 360-degree views from the superyacht’s interior, it said.

The Nomad 55 is the latest in Gulf Craft’s long-range series of yachts, offering Qataris with an insatiable appetite for sea travel an opportunity to take the five-star loft experience into the midst of the world’s oceans.

Mohammed Hussein Al Shaali, chairman of Gulf Craft, said: “Our company’s relationship with Qatar goes beyond one of supply and demand, rather it is a unique bond born out of our shared passion for the sea.”

“Today, Qatari buyers are interested in a diverse range of on-water experiences, marked by a growing desire for on-board comfort and extended sea travel. Every year, we look forward to bringing the latest models in our expanding fleet as part of our promise to fulfill these evolving aspirations. We also understand that Qatari owners want to spend more time cruising and less time maintaining their boats, and that is why our dedicated after-sales support team is always within reach,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
