Dragon City picks MEM as media partner

MANAMA, July 13, 2016

Bahrain-based Dragon City, a wholesale and retail shopping destination, has appointed Middle East Media (MEM) as its exclusive partner to supervise all indoor and outdoor advertising activities of the mall.

A leading media management company, MEM will also be in charge of creating additional media opportunities across the project.

With this move, Diyar Al Muharraq, a unique master planned city offering a range of housing options and quality lifestyle, has handed over complete management of all indoor and outdoor advertising spaces at Dragon City to MEM, said Dr Maher Al Shaer, managing director of Dragon City after signing the deal with Fathi Faraj, director of MEM in the presence of Diyar Al Muharraq and Chinamex officials.

Diyar Al Muharraq offers a cohesive mix of residential and commercial properties with a strong line-up of projects such as Dragon City aimed at creating a long term and sophisticated township.

MEM is one of the region’s most established media management companies boasting over 25 years of experience and an extensive client base that spans not only the Middle East but internationally.

It has established digital media networks across multiple outdoor locations and is known for consistently introducing new technologies and state-of-the-art media.

As per the agreement, MEM will supervise all third party advertising enquiries and bookings, determine the most suitable advertising locations across the project as well as set up digital media platforms for additional advertising opportunities, he stated.

Lauding the MEM partnership, Al Shaer, said: "A project of such scale opens up plenty of business prospects for the local advertising sector and offers innovative advertising opportunities."

"We look forward to working in partnership with Mem to market Dragon City as a prime advertising location," he added.

Expressing delight at the Diyar Al Muharraq deal, Faraj said: "The project offers plenty of suitable areas for creative advertising placement both inside Dragon City Mall as well as in the surrounding areas of the Dining Village and Dragon Apartments."

"The mall provides a very attractive location for companies wishing to maximise their customer reach," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
