Al Hassan Engineering wins $20m PDO contract

MUSCAT, August 29, 2016

Oman-based Al Hassan Engineering Company (AHEC) has won a $20-million deal from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for the construction and commissioning support to the Saih Nihayda Condensate Stabilisation Plant (SNCP), said a report.

The scope also includes some residual engineering and procurement for the project, the company revealed in a filing to the Capital Market Authority (CMA), added the Oman Daily Observer report.

The company said it will immediately mobilise all the necessary resources and construction equipment in order to undertake this project on a fast track basis and would add in-country value (ICV) wherever possible.

The duration of the contract is approximately 16 months, added the report.
