Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), a leading international aluminium smelter, said it recently received top honours for its relations with the investors’ community when it won two major awards at the 8th ME Investor Relations Society Awards, in Dubai, UAE.

Alba won the ‘Leading Corporate for Investor Relations in Bahrain’ and ‘Best Investor Relations Professional in Bahrain’ awards at the event, said a statement from the company.

The Middle East Investor Relations Society’s (ME-IR Society) Awards is a prestigious event in collaboration with Thomson Reuters Extel and recognises the efforts of regional companies and Investor Relations (IR) professionals who play a critical role in developing IR, it said.
