Alliant Techsystems wins $16.9m Iraq contract

BAGHDAD, December 27, 2016

US-based Alliant Techsystems, a leading defence and aerospace company, has been awarded a $16.9 million firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract in Iraq, said a report.

The company will fully develop and implement a contract to install five MX-15 HD systems and upgrade all Cessna 208 aircraft to HD video, added the Iraq Business News report.

The work will be performed in Iraq, and is expected to be completed by February 1, 2018, it said.

Last week the company was awarded a $22-million contract to provide logistics support for the Iraqi Air Force’s Cessna fleet.
