Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), an international aluminium smelter, is the winner of the ‘2018 International Safety Award’ with Merit from the British Safety Council for its year-round diligent efforts towards maintaining safety and well-being of its employees.

The International Safety Awards by the British Safety Council recognises and rewards organisations that are committed to corporate safety and health.

Alba will be awarded at the International Safety Awards Gala Dinner, which will be held on April 27, at Grosvenor House Hotel, London, UK.

Alba's chief executive officer Tim Murray said: “Employee safety and health has always been our number one priority as we truly believe that safety and productivity are mutually inclusive.”

“We have built an excellent track record for safety in recent years and I thank our employees for their hard work and commitment,” he said.
