LTS to expand IoT services portfolio to GCC

RIYADH, February 24, 2019

Saudi Arabia-based Logistics Technology Services (LTS), a value leader of the Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, is planning to launch its innovative portfolio of IoT services in the GCC countries followed by the Middle East and Africa (MEA) in the next three years.

The new expansion strategy was unveiled by Engineer Bader Juwaied, chief executive officer of LTS, at the recently-held Saudi International Exhibition and Conference for the Internet of Things (IoT) at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

As the Silver sponsor of the mega event, LTS took the opportunity to showcase its pioneering experiences in the implementation of IoT solutions to the Middle East's most influential audience in the field of ICT.

Juwaied said: “As regional enterprises continue to go through their digital transformation journeys, they seek a trusted partner with the depth and breadth of experience in the implementation of modern digital solutions.”

“As a partner who speaks their language, understands their issues and helps meeting their goals, we are now planning to offer our highly-reputed IoT services in other GCC countries followed by the Middle East and Africa,” he added.

“The IoT solutions market in the GCC is poised for robust growth as regional governments are increasingly investing in next-generation technologies to move their economies away from reliance on oil. Moreover, the next-generation technologies are creating massive opportunities for economic transformation and could lead to an industrial revolution, globally referred as the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” Juwaied concluded.

LTS, which started operations in Saudi Arabia in 2010, offers fleet management solutions to help drive organisations to new levels of business competitiveness with their vehicle fleets, routes, and drivers.

The company also provides technical services to the industry projects including IoT, oil and gas, petrochemical, manufacturing and utilities, and the support services include design, engineering and implementation.

As a provider of open IoT fleet management platform services, LTS has recently been appointed by Elm Company, a leading provider of digital solutions in the kingdom, as a longtime service provider for its fleet management solutions “Masarat”.

LTS has also partnered with leading companies such as Planet Networking & Communication to offer a wide range of switches, routers, media converters and power supplies; Geotab to provide fleet management software and GPS vehicle tracking devices and GTS to offer system integration and services in automation and communication engineering, it stated. – Trade Arabia News Service
