Ajman Free Zones supports AI expo

Ajman Free Zone was the Silver Sponsor at a recent exhibition, AI Made Real, which examined the use of artificial intelligence in the corporate world.

The event attracted a wealth of businesses from the IT field, which Ajman Free Zone has marked as a key sector for attracting investment, and it provided an excellent opportunity for the free zone to convey the myriad benefits of establishing a business here, said a statement.

VIP guests in attendance at Ajman University included Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, as well as a number of professors from Ajman Universities.

Attendees, representing a wealth of business sectors heard several viewpoints on how AI is contributing to business, and the massive impact being made, with highlights including AI transformation, big data and machine learning.

Fatma Salem, acting director general of Ajman Free Zone, said: “We were delighted to play a supporting role in this exciting event which brought together a variety of industry experts, academics and stakeholders to impart their knowledge on a subject which is so relevant.”

“We understand that the future is actually now, and we must embrace the vast strides that are being made in AI technology and put these to good use - platforms like this help greatly in speeding up the process,” Salem said.

“Ajman Free Zone is ambitious in its plans to target and nurture those companies who are progressing in this dynamic and innovative field, as well as those individuals who have great ideas that need support and nurturing.    We were able to engage further with them at the event, and we are confident that our association will be very fruitful,” Salem added.

Ajman Free Zone will also partake in a series of events including Future Manufacturing & Trade Summit in September, GITEX in October, and Big 5 in November amongst others, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
