Fine Hygienic's CEO recognised in Forbes Middle East list

DUBAI, October 24, 2019

Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), one of the world's leading manufacturers of hygienic paper products, said that its chief executive officer, James Michael Lafferty, was recognised in the Forbes Middle East’s list of the ‘Top 50 International CEOs Heading Local Companies’.

The announcement was made during Forbes Middle East’s ‘Global Meets Local’ event. It hosted industry leaders and business professionals to recognise the achievements of multinational CEOs working in the Middle East who head up GCC-based companies, said a statement from the company.

The annual event paid tribute to iconic leaders who have bolstered the economy and contributed to the success of the region through their ability to accept, absorb and thrive in another culture and enthusiastically contribute to its peacefulness and prosperity, it said.

Speaking on the honour, Lafferty said: “I am incredibly honoured to be featured by Forbes Middle East, it is a distinction I will proudly carry for the rest of my career.”

“I am both humbled and gratified to be recognised for my work, both as the CEO of Fine Hygienic Holding and as an expat who is dedicated to the growth and prosperity of the region I now call home,” he added.

The nominees represented the top tier of global talent who are playing an essential role in building the region’s economies, societies and skylines. The individual ranking was assigned according to a methodology which takes into account the size of the company, role within the company, accomplishments in the last year and editorial points including engagement with the media, market reputation and impact.

FHH, which has a dual-HQ in both Amman, Jordan, where they were first founded, and Dubai, UAE, continues to push for the expansion of its presence, and is actively seeking to expand and diversify its portfolio into other areas of wellness, specifically beverages and nutritional supplementation.

To date, the company serves over 75 markets across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the US, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
