Airbus to highlight critical infrastructure protection capabilities

DUBAI, November 15, 2019

Airbus, a key player in public safety and security, will highlight its unique integrated critical infrastructure protection capabilities at Milipol 2019, taking place next week in France.

The event will take place from November 19 to 22, at Parc des Expositions Villepinte, France.

Located on stand R179 in Hall 5 and showing the different steps of an integrated security strategy (Assess & Identify, Anticipate & Detect, Protect & Respond and Recover & Maintain), Airbus will present its complete and integrated portfolio that is able to protect customers from the early detection of the threat until the final resolution.

The company will display a 1:5 scale model of the H145, a versatile multi-purpose helicopter designed for demanding operations, as well as full scale models of the fixed-wing Survey Copter DVF200ER and Aliaca UAV.

These aircraft are all ideally adapted to perform ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) protection or monitoring missions, both for military and civil applications.

In the context of Critical Infrastructure Protection, Airbus will present DOME, its integrated security solution for critical infrastructure, as a cutting edge offer of the market.

With unparalleled expertise in the data value chain, Airbus will also present sensors, services and digital platforms for support of sharper and faster situational awareness and data sharing.

It will include assets and services focused on intelligence, from imaging, like Pléiades Neo and Zephyr, or digital services like OneAtlas to operational missions like SAFEcommand, which provides operational risk and incident information to first responders.

In addition, to ensure secure, end-to-end resilient communication in all situations when customers need them most, seamless communications means will be showcased via a combination of products, like Tactilon Agnet, the secure collaboration platform for smart devices which allows multimedia content sharing across multiple organisations, as well as push-to-talk (PTT) and group communication.

The Tactilon Dabat hybrid terminal will also be showcased. The two-in-one smartphone and terminal features full interoperability with radio terminals, and smartphones for business mission critical use, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
