GCC Interconnection Authority Wins SAP Mena Quality Award

The Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) has announced an integral part of its digital transformation strategy with SAP Company to move toward “Digital Transformation” and “Smart Digital Solutions” to improve the procedures and processes to deliver value for GCCIA Shareholders.
 
GCCIA core activities include operating the GCC electrical Interconnection, maintaining the interconnection grid assets, and facilitating electric energy exchange and trade between GCC member states. GCCIA is always looking for leading technologies that can improve the way to carry out work and provide high quality services to GCC states. GCCIA cooperation with SAP is a step into the road of Operational Excellence that it seek.
 
GCCIA worked with channel partner Tyconz to implement the S/4HANA real-time business suite and SuccessFactors human experience management suite to improve the methods of carrying out tasks related to managing Human Talents, managing contracts, inventories, and purchasing process. The system also will help improving the management of business meetings, travel procedures, and planned asset management activities.
