Cargo transportation company Evocargo teams up with RTA

DUBAI, October 28, 2021

Autonomous cargo transportation company Evocargo International Holdings said it has signed a cooperation agreement with Dubai's Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) to showcase and initiate trials of Autonomous Logistics via its unmanned all-electric hydrogen vehicles.
 
This comes as part of a long-term strategy to ramp up its presence in the global and regional smart logistics market, stated the company. 
 
The deal was signed on the sidelines of the Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport, which concluded today (October 28).
 
A four-day event, the Congress is a global platform for self-driving transport that gathers prominent experts, policy makers, technology manufacturers, researchers and leading academia. 
 
Evocargo expressed its interest for cooperation with RTA in exploring opportunities to showcase the self-produced unmanned electric logistics platforms EVO.1 (3.5 tonnes full weight) and EVO.3 (44 tonnes full weight) and offer its end-to-end robotisation logistics service that can cut transportation costs by up to 60%. 
 
Andrei Bolshakov, the Founder and Chief Business Development Officer, Limited said, "We have ambitious targets to create awareness of smart logistics service provided by full-size unmanned vehicles EVO.3 (N3 class) and EVO.1 (N1 class),  which significantly impacts the logistics industry. Bolshakov was addressing the gathering at the event along with other prominent speakers including Engineer Muammar Al Katheeri, Executive Vice President, Engineering & Smart City DSOA, Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO, RTA and Prof Sebastian Thurn, CEO, Kitty Hawk.
 
"We are delighted to bring the self-driving technology to our customers and the public at large as this will improve our services and also help us achieve our goal to have 25 percent of all transportation trips in Dubai is through smart and driverless modes," stated Ahmed Hashem Bahrozyan, the Chief Executive Officer of RTA.
 
Along with Evocargo, the RTA showcased the autonomous vehicle during the event in Dubai.
