Saudi ministry signs agreement with Davos UPLink

DAVOS, Switzerland, May 29, 2022

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Economy and Planning has signed an agreement with the open innovation platform of UPLink, an affiliate of Davos World Economic Forum to address the sustainable development challenges.

Faisal bin Fadhil Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia and Borge Brende, President of Davos World Economic Forum signed the agreement in the presence of a number of officials of the two sides, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

According to the agreement, the ministry seeks to discuss and study the joint issues in the field of food security, food wastes recycling, food stability and climatical smart agriculture within Saudi Arabia's efforts to achieve the agenda for the sustainable development 2030 locally and internationally.
