Asteco project ‘on track’
Dubai

Asteco design team is on track for handover of 90 World Trade Centre Residence (WTCR) apartments by July 2008.

Asteco’s design team, headed by Kerrin Matthey, undertook 100 per cent turnkey project management from the design and space planning to final installation of furniture and fittings for the serviced apartments, which will be leased on a short-term basis on behalf of investors, the company said in a statement.

“Conceptualising the indoor environment for any residence must reflect the personality of the user and the profile of the property. It took us a year to put the packages together as there were so many elements which needed to be taken into account for both the operator and the purchaser,” said Matthey.

“I am confident that we’ve struck the perfect balance which will appeal to both the short term rental market and those purchasers who wish to move in with their families. As a result, we’ve given the apartments a modern and contemporary look with special touches that provide comfort and give a homely feel.”

Matthey said intelligent space planning is crucial especially if the apartment needs to be rented out as it will cater to a wider audience.

“Versatility is key. I am sure that the packages offered will help maximise rental returns for buyers.”

WTCR apartments are spacious and designed in a contemporary manner using materials such as glass, marble and stainless steel. The fully serviced apartments aim to provide a luxurious yet convenient environment through a blend of modern-day technology and functionality.

Great attention to detail was given to fabric and furniture longevity ensuring it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye creating a practical yet luxurious setting.

The World Trade Centre Residence promises a combination of the ultimate home environment with levels of five-star luxury and service associated with the best hotels. The 40-storey WTCR will house 375 apartments. Most of the apartments have a duplex configuration with a gallery and have between one to four bedrooms.

Project partners include Jumeirah Living, which will manage the property, and B&B Italia, the furniture providers. – TradeArabia News Service
