FiberHome opens regional office in Bahrain

FiberHome, a leading optical communication enterprise from China, has opened its office in Bahrain to boost the company's operations in the Middle East.

A joint venture between a leading communication integrator in Saudi Arabia, Ascend Technologies of Bahrain and FiberHome Technologies of China, FiberHome Middle East will provide telecom network products for telecom operators and enterprises in the region, a company official said.

The new office will help facilitate and address the surging demand for advanced, integrated telecom solutions, said a company official.
 
'The Middle East office is in the process of mobilising and recruiting staff from China and the region besides building its labs. It is already involved with active projects in GCC, Algeria and Syria,' Fawzi Shehabi, the managing director of FiberHome Middle East, noted.

“We will initially concentrate on the GCC market, providing full support for service providers and enterprise networks, before continuing its expansion drive to the rest of the Middle East,” he added.

The company, Shehabi said, aims to become the leading networks solutions company in the region through the deployment of innovative, state-of-the-art technology.

Some of the products include high-speed broadband optical transmission systems, fiber-optic broadband access system, IP network routing and switch systems IP, wireless communication and power supply, fiber and cable products and photo electronic devices.-TradeArabia News Service
