Dubai

IBM Middle East has extended its innovation with channel partners, the company said in a statement.

IBM’s annual Business Partner Executive Conference (BPEC) took place on the May 14 at the Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai with a strong focus on “Innovation that Matters”.

The conference covered key topics related to IBM’s global and Middle East business partner strategy with David Cornick, vice-president of Channels, North East Europe.

He was accompanied by other executives from Europe and the Middle East who covered IBM eServer xSeries updates as well as presentations by ISVs and system integrators in the region also being held.

In addition, the conference highlighted some of IBM’s latest acquisitions focussing on the benefits to the partners and expanding the eco-system which is key to success in today’s global business environment.

“BPEC allows us to provide our channel partners, whether they are system integrators, consultants, resellers or Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), the support they need to expand their reach in the market and to meet changing customer needs, said David Cornick, vice president Channels, Northeast Europe. “Working closely with our channel partners adds value into our business chain and broadens our offerings to guarantee customer satisfaction.”

“More and more of our clients are making innovation their top business priority; IBM business partners along with IBM are very qualified to deliver innovative solutions that will resonate with clients’ objectives to achieve sustainable differentiation,” said Takreem El – Tohamy, general manager IBM Middle East, Egypt, and Pakistan.

“We have helped clients of all sizes in the past to succeed by unleashing new aspects of innovation across their business: innovation that is open, collaborative, global and multidisciplinary. We will continue to proceed down this successful route.” – TradeArabia News Service
