HCL in Saudi IT joint venture

Manama, July 13, 2010

HCL Technologies (HCL) and Saudi-based Al Majdouie Group have announced a joint venture for total IT outsourcing services.

It will be implemented over the next seven years. The end-to-end IT services agreement undertaken by HCL will enable streamlined business processes and seamless integration across all group companies and points of presence of the group.

HCL will blend all its outsourcing strengths - applications and infrastructure capabilities, industry knowledge and expertise - to help Al Majdouie achieve fundamental transformation at the enterprise level.

"We were looking for a partner who is known for its best practices globally and has potential to redefine our IT eco-system," said group president Abdullah Ali Almajdouie.

"In HCL, we found a partner who could build and run the IT infrastructure for our company. We are hopeful to strengthen our position in the market by harnessing the many benefits that a robust IT system managed by HCL Technologies will deliver," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
