Vodafone Qatar wins ruling over Virgin

Qatar's regulator has ruled that Virgin Mobile's entry into the Gulf state in partnership with rival Qtel violated telecoms law, Vodafone Qatar said on Saturday, saying the regulator had ruled in its favour in a dispute.
'Vodafone Qatar welcomed ictQATAR's, the country's telecommunications regulator, landmark decision in response to Vodafone Qatar's complaint against Qatar Telecommunication's (Qtel) introduction of Virgin Mobile in Qatar,' the company said in a statement.-Reuters
