Etisalat showcases broadband solutions
Abu Dhabi, September 22, 2010
Etisalat, the leading telecom service provider in the UAE, showcased solutions and highlighted the need for broadband to enable better business at a recently concluded Internet show in Abu Dhabi.
At the Internet Show Abu Dhabi 2010, Etisalat, the official ICT partner of the show, demonstrated solutions for enterprises and small and medium businesses across its business connectivity, mobility solutions, managed services and e-business platforms.
“The Internet Show is an excellent platform to showcase our integrated value proposition that gives businesses the competitive edge that they need,” said Abdulla Hashim, senior VP, business solutions, Etisalat.
“Etisalat today provides the best connectivity on both, fixed and mobile broadband, offering the region’s highest broadband speeds of up to 100Mbps for businesses along with access to a range of solutions across the entire Internet value chain.”
“These smart solutions enable us to offer an unbeatable combination of solutions aimed at enhancing business productivity and efficiency for smart businesses that go beyond the broadband connectivity advantage,” he added.
Etisalat also demonstrated its managed unified office solution which is a practical, convenient and affordable "office in a box” solution essentially for SMBs (small and medium businesses).
The service will bring voice, broadband and data communications together in one box, with end-to-end management and monitoring features, thereby providing businesses with a single point of management for all ICT infrastructure elements.
Etisalat’s fiber rollout has also provided significant benefits for businesses with the advantage of a scalable and dedicated network for business to offer maximum reliability and uptimes.
Etisalat mobile IT solution was also previewed at the Internet Show, which when launched, will enable corporate IT managers to gain administrative control in device security, settings, application deployment and so on.
This will extend IT operations from the network to the mobile handsets belonging to company staff. The service will be hosted by Etisalat with company IT administrators accessing the server platform via a Web Portal.
Etisalat speakers also addressed audiences at the event with Enrique Beza Rodriguez, senior manager, mobile commerce, highlighting Etisalat’s role in helping eCommerce merchants mitigate online fraud risks.
Etisalat will enable enabling fraud monitoring capabilities through a fully integrated solution that will offer access to worldwide fraud databases and real-time device profiling, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
