Manama, October 18, 2011
Bahrain’s leading telecommunications company, Batelco, has added the Samsung 19100 Galaxy SII in white colour to its selection of handsets available at Batelco retail outlets throughout the country.
Since its introduction, the Galaxy SII has proven to be very popular due to its stunning appearance coupled with smart specifications to suit the most demanding requirements, a statement from the telecommunications company said.
The newly arrived device is now available at all Batelco outlets in combination with Batelco’s Super Smart package which features 4GB of Free Data, 200 minutes of free local calls and 75 free SMS, at BD25 ($66) per month.
The Galaxy S II is Samsung’s slimmest and lightest Dual Core smartphone, weighing just 116 grams at a thickness of only 8.49mm. Users can experience sharper images and smoother graphics with the Super AMOLED Plus display. With super-fast response times and outstanding contrast ratio, the 4.3" display is Samsung's most colourful and brightest screen.
The Galaxy SII features an 8MP camera with LED Flash, Full HD Recording and Playback and Dual Core Application Processor. A device as powerful as this needs a long battery life and the Galaxy SII meets the requirement with a new smaller battery that is even more powerful than the previous models. Samsung’s advance power consumption technology significantly improves standby and talk time.
Ahmed Al Janahi, general manager, media relations, Batelco Group, said: “We are committed to delivering an excellent line-up of in-demand devices in addition to relevant services at value for money prices. We offer many world-class products on interest free instalment plans to accommodate all budgets.”
Batelco offers both black and white models in a variety of payment options ranging from cash to flexible payments in monthly installments. Furthermore, a wide range of top branded phones, in addition to Samsung devices, are also available as part of the popular Super Smart package, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
