Zain hosts Apple delegation

Zain Bahrain recently hosted a delegation of high-level Apple executives at its corporate headquarters, to discuss the extensive efforts made by the companies in the launch of Apple’s products in 2011.
Apple’s delegation was welcomed by a number of senior Zain executives led by general manager, Mohamed Zainalabedin; acting CEO of Zain Kuwait, Omar Saud Al Omar; Zain Group chief marketing officer M Jawdat Dajani; and other executives and officials of the company, a statement from the company said.
Members of the delegation included Pascal Cagney, vice president and general manager in charge of Apple’s operations in Europe, Middle East, India and Africa; Thomas Presing, regional executive director for Europe and Middle East; John Mark Dubeau, regional executive director of sales in the Middle East, Africa, France, Italy and Spain; and other Company leaders of sales and marketing.
The visit took place in the wake of the efforts made by Zain and Apple in the launch of Apple’s products including the incredibly successful launches of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, the statement said.
“Zain and Apple share core values such as customer service excellence and technological leadership and the meeting served to emphasise our common goals,” Zainalabedin said.
Senior Zain executives in the parent group took part in the many discussions that focused mainly on telecommunications and information revolutions, the statement said.
The two sides reviewed their views concerning the latest ICT solutions and applications, for which Apple has become a leader, owing to its continuous drive to innovate and constant support to the information revolution, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
