Italtel Arabia earns Cisco certification

Italtel has announced that its Saudi Arabian subsidiary has earned the designation of Cisco Authorised Technology Partner - Mobile Internet Technology (ATP-MIT).

Italtel Arabia is the first Cisco partner in Saudi Arabia to achieve this certification, a top official from Italtel said.

Cisco has acknowledged that Italtel Arabia has made the required investment for the ATP - Mobile Internet Technology in terms of technical equipment and staff training, demonstrating its capability to sell, install and support customers with Cisco products and solutions for mobile internet in Saudi Arabia and the Middle Eastern countries.

“With ATP-MIT certification Italtel enhances its offer of mobile internet solutions for mobile operators, an area in constant growth thanks to the increasing diffusion of smartphones and other mobile IP devices that access and share multimedia contents on the mobile internet,” said Camillo Ascione, head of Cisco & ICT Solutions Product Unit.

“Italtel is strongly committed to develop its presence and offer capability as a Cisco partner in EMEA and Latam markets. Other than Saudi Arabia, Italtel has also achieved ATP-MIT certifications in Italy and Argentina. These are currently the three reference hubs and a further expansion is in the company’s plans,” she said.

Italtel deployed several major service providers and enterprises network solutions in the Middle East based on Cisco products as well as proprietary products allowing end-users to take advantage of its innovative services based on voice, video and collaboration.

Italtel operates in the Middle East through its subsidiaries based in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman. – TradeArabia News Service
