Du offers 100 Mbps home broadband service
Dubai, August 14, 2012
Du, the UAE's integrated telecommunications service provider, said it has become the first in the country to offer a 100 Mbps home broadband service to virtually all its customers through the 'Real Home Broadband 100 Mbps.'
For the first time, customers with du’s Talk & Surf or Talk, Surf & Watch package can upgrade to broadband download speeds of up to 100 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 10 Mbps, said a statement from the company.
The pricing for Real Home Broadband Premium starts at Dh999 ($272), it stated.
'This is our fastest internet yet, offering a never before broadband user experience. With a download speed up to 100 Mbps on tap, it offers the capability for multiple family members to enjoy unrivalled speeds simultaneously, no matter what their requirements,” remarked Farid Faraidooni, the chief commercial officer.
“Our Real Broadband packages are already very popular with our customers for the value they offer, and with Real Home Broadband 100 Mbps, customers in the UAE can now avail speeds that are available in only a few other countries,” he stated.
According to him, very few customers have not been eligible for this service because of infrastructure restrictions inside their building.-TradeArabia News Service
