CompuGroup to showcase at Saudi expo

CompuGroup Medical (CGM), a leading IT healthcare solutions provider, will showcase some of its industry-leading products at a major healthcare conference and exhibition and conference in Riyadh.
The Saudi Ministry of Health (MoH) has partnered with HIMSS, a US-based non-profit organization advocating the optimal use of IT and management systems for advanced healthcare, in organising the upcoming Saudi Ministry of Health & HIMSS (MoH-HIMSS) Middle East Conference and Exhibition, taking place from April 30 to May 1 at the Four Seasons Hotel.
At the event, CGM will highlight its top products such as CORTTEX and CNG, in addition to its new widely popular application iCNG.
CGM will also underscore the importance of equipping healthcare organizations with evolving and sustainable solutions that can ensure continuous Return on Investment while driving down Total Cost of Ownership.
Dr Ömer Hotomaroğlu, senior medical applications development leader, CompuGroup Medical, will take part in an industry solution session during which he will make a presentation titled ‘From paper-based to computerized clinical information systems’.

The Saudi Government has allocated SR242.7 million ($64.5 million) specifically for the development of healthcare under its ninth Development Plan covering the period from 2010 to 2014.
This figure represents almost 17 per cent of the total federal budget and is 82.4 per cent higher than the last five-year plan. The current focus is on further development of infrastructure and healthcare personnel. – TradeArabia News Service
