Sabre, El Ajouz extend technology agreement

Dubai, May 8, 2013

Sabre Travel Network Middle East, a technology company serving travel buyers, agencies and suppliers, has signed a three-year extension to its agreement with El Ajouz Travel, to exclusively use Sabre technology for its reservation needs.

Daniel Naoumovitch, Sabre’s chief executive, said: “This agreement with El Ajouz Travel reinforces Sabre’s solid footprint in the Lebanon market and highlights its role as the preferred technology partner for travel management companies pursuing an aggressive growth strategy. El Ajouz Travel has been a valued customer for more than seven years and we look forward to many more years of partnership.”

Hasan El Ajouz, owner and managing director of El Ajouz Travel, said: “I am once more pleased to call Sabre our exclusive partner. Its innovative solutions have helped El Ajouz Travel maintain a leading position in the Lebanese market and I thank them for their continued support.”

El Ajouz will have special access to the award-winning Sabre Red Workspace, which provides agents with faster start up times, high performance even in low-bandwidth areas, rock-solid stability and quick and easy access to low-fare content, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency.

“Sabre’s investment in Lebanon goes beyond customers. We have an active training agreement with Al Manar University of Tripoli in northern Lebanon and provide a number of introductory and advanced courses related to its GDS technology. Targeting entry level travel industry professionals, we hope to develop the right human capital in the Levant,” added Naoumovitch. – TradeArabia News Service
