A high-level team from Bahrain Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) represented the Kingdom at the 5th World Telecommunications/ICT Policy Forum (WTPF) held recently in Geneva.

The event was hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under the theme ‘International Internet-related Public Policy Issues.’ More than 900 top telecom officials from 130 countries attended the forum, while over 3,000 participated remotely via webbroadcast.

The TRA Bahrain team was invited to chair the second working group which discussed the opinions on ‘Supporting Capacity Building for the Deployment of IPv6’ and ‘In Support of IPv6 Adoption and Transition from IPv4,’ said a company statement
