Batelco, Bahrain’s leading telecom company, has launched 4G LTE mobile internet for prepaid customers.

Customers who avail this service can also enjoy unlimited calls to Batelco lines throughout the month for BD4 ($10.5) per month, said a statement.

Consumer Division general manager Muna Al Hashimi said that Batelco continues to introduce the latest technologies for its customers to ensure they have access to the most in-demand services.  

“Batelco is entering a new era with the delivery of the 4G LTE service for prepaid customers who will now have the ability to use their prepaid numbers to access the internet via our 4G Mobile Network using their 4G enabled smartphones,” she said.

4G LTE provides download speeds up to 100Mbps that ensures instant access, streaming without buffering and an enhanced online gaming experience, in addition to fast download and upload speeds, she added. - TradeArabia News Service
