VIVA to shed light on telecom sector trends

VIVA Bahrain will be highlighting the key trends driving the growth of the telecom industry in the Mena region at the upcoming Telecoms World Middle East (TWME) 2013 in Dubai.
As platinum sponsor of TWME 2013, it will be leading the keynote panel of discussion on how Mena operators can position themselves at the centre of the connected economy to enable a more connected life for the citizens of this region.
Taking place on the first day under the theme 'Opportunity, Innovation and Strategy', the debate will have participation from senior management of leading regional telecom companies and will be moderated by Google spokesperson Daniel Sieberg.
VIVA Bahrain chief executive Ulaiyan Al Wetaid will highlight the key trends driving the growth of the telecom industry.
He will also touch upon how telecom firms are responding to these dominating trend drivers, which are mapping the evolution of the industry.

Other key highlights of the three-day event include leading operators from the region discussing the main topics in the telecoms' sphere including LTE technology, networks, enterprise and investment.
The event will also feature the Telecoms World Awards where the industry's leading organisations will be recognised for their outstanding achievements which have positively contributed to the development of the telecoms industry in the Middle East.
