Nawras launches 4G service

Muscat, October 9, 2013

Oman-based telecom operator Nawras has launched the 4G mobile service for smartphones to provide combined voice and data plans.

Customers will be able to use the service on 4G compatible smartphones, in addition to tablets and modems. The service can be added to existing monthly data plans, said a statement.

“We are excited to be offering our customers superfast 4G data plans,” said Musab Al-Haddabi, mobile data senior product manager.

“Our high-speed 4G network is designed to support data-hungry applications for video streaming, games, movies and much more.  We know our customers want a great choice so we have a range of different plans that can be easily activated and enjoyed straight away.”

The plans range from 1GB for RO5 ($13) to 10GB of inclusive data for RO24. Business customers can contact their account manager to select a plan from a range that extends up to 100GB of data. - TradeArabia News Service
