Asus launches new gaming motherboard

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG), a leading consumer notebook and motherboard manufacturer, has launched its Rampage IV Black edition motherboard in the GCC.

It is an E-ATX gaming motherboard designed to support the full power of Intel LGA 2011 Core i7 (Ivy Bridge-E) processors.

Based on the Intel X79 Express chipset, the new editon boasts of the best ROG technologies and the latest innovations to improve gaming and maximise overclocking possibilities, in a black design with silver and red highlights.

It has eight DIMM sockets for up to 64GB of DRAM (DDR3 2800MHz+, overclocked), supports up to four-way graphics card (multi-GPU) setups, including Extreme Engine DIGI+ III voltage-regulator module (VRM) for ultra-stable power delivery and benefits from SupremeFX Black, for high-end dedicated sound card.
