Batelco introduces Hindi IVR for helpdesk

Batelco, a leading telecom services provider in Bahrain, has introduced Hindi language to its interactive voice response (IVR) Customer Contact Centre, to enhance support services for its Indian customers.

Through the Hindi IVR, customers will be able to check their prepaid credit balance, MMS and GPRS services, PUK Service, and also refill their SimSim accounts by vouchers or credit card.

Batelco Group general manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that through this upgrade, Batelco aims to better serve Hindi speakers who utilise the IVR 196 service.

“Batelco continuously invests in its excellent systems to make them even better and places special emphasis on enhancing the lives of its customers. We serve a multinational customer base and the addition of Hindi has been in demand due to our growing number of Indian customers,” he said. – TradeArabia News Service
