Du sales network tops 10,000 outlets

Du, a leading telecom operator in the UAE, saw its point of sales (PoS) network grow to more than 10,000 outlets in 2013, while the company bolstered its retail reach to 51 Du shops.
In two ceremonies held to mark the achievements, Du recognised its partnerships with UAE’s leading brands and stores since the company’s launched its operations in 2007.
The first event was hosted by Osman Sultan, CEO, Du where he received CEOs of sales partners and expressed appreciation and discussed future plans.
The second event, hosted by Fahad Al Hassawi, chief commercial officer, Du, was dedicated to reward the best performing sales staff from partners.
Both the events were attended by Ahmed Mokhles, executive vice president – Consumer Business, Du, as well as Du’s 33 partner and authorised dealer companies.
“We have formed strong partnerships with so many of the UAE’s most respected brands over the years, which has enabled us to be closer to our customers wherever they are in the UAE,” said Sultan.
“2013 was a good year for our growth. In order for our company to progress into a sustainable future, we must build strong foundations in which our market share success is reflected in our value share. Our partners represent the backbone of our presence, and would like to extend our sincere thanks for their cooperation over the last seven years.

The best performing sales partners were honoured with a trophy under the categories of Partner Account Manager, Best Du Salesman and Master Dealer. – TradeArabia News Service
