Batelco offers improved broadband

Manama, March 6, 2014

Batelco, a leading telecom operator in Bahrain, has announced enhancements to fixed broadband packages, including bigger thresholds, higher throttling speeds and even lower prices.

The new packages are for both existing and new customers, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

The company said the initiative was part of efforts to maximise Internet experience by offering different broadband packages suiting all customers' needs, from low to heavy users, with high threshold and free unlimited usage after threshold, at speed of up to 15Mb.

Batelco has also reduced prices for additional usage bundles, designed for customers who want to add more threshold at their full package speed.

"We regularly carry out enhancements to broadband packages to provide a combination of faster upload and download speeds, higher thresholds, higher throttled speeds and lower prices," Batelco general manager consumer division Muna Al Hashimi said.

"This is the first upgrade of this year and Batelco will continuously review its offerings with a view to delivering further benefits throughout the year." – TradeArabia News Service
