Mobily seals Bharti Airtel partnership deal

Saudi-based telecom operator Mobily has entered into a strategic partnership deal with Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa.

The duo signed a Master Carrier Services Agreement (MCSA) to interconnect each other’s MPLS, IPLC and IP Transit services.

The partnership will enable Mobily and Airtel to enhance their reach not only in their respective countries and but also across the globe to provide reliable, redundant and quality centric services to carriers and enterprise customers like banking, retail, government and SME, said a statement from MObily.

The state-of-the art interconnection will be able to accommodate quick activation of circuits starting from 1 Mbps to 1Gps and also allow customers to choose from a variety of CoS (Class of Service) according to their strategic requirement and business model, its stated.

The partnership will serve as a catalyst towards data traffic growth in the region as well as across the globe, the statement added.-TradeArabia News Service
