Pacific Control names new business officer

Dubai-based Pacific Control Systems (PCS), a global leader in ICT and engineering solutions for buildings and infrastructure projects, has appointed energy management veteran Vijaya Kumar as chief business officer.
Kumar brings to PCS over 25 years of experience in the domain of energy management and optimisation. He was associated with reputed multinationals in the automation and controls industry. In his new position, Kumar will oversee all facets of the company’s business development strategies.
Dilip Rahulan, executive chairman – PCS, said, “We are pleased to welcome Vijaya Kumar to the PCS family. Kumar would lead the company’s business development plans in the UAE and other parts of the world.”

Prior to joining PCS, Kumar held the position of vice president at Imergy Power as well as strategic regional positions at Johnson Controls, Honeywell and United Technologies.
Kumar is an Electronics and Communication Engineer, and holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
