Experts to share mobile app development know-how

Manama, April 8, 2014

Bahrain’s eGovernment Authority is set to organise a workshop entitled ‘Mobile Applications,’ where experts will present their global expertise.

As part of the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2014 activities, the workshop, in collaboration with mobile product development company ThinSlices, will take place on April 22 and 23 at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

The workshop will discuss the latest trends in mobility, the experience of companies in developing mobile apps and transforming them into ‘Smart Government’ concept, in addition to developing users’ experience and transforming multiple complicated services into mobility platforms that are compatible with the main traditional platforms to provide services via several channels using web applications, smart device applications and cloud computing.

The speakers are Ilie Ghiciuc, founder and COO of ThinSlices and CTO of Hppy, and Vlad Bodi, the founder and CEO of Hppy, a mobile app entrepreneur who created a mobile and web tool that assists companies to track and manage their employee’s happiness.

They will also present an introduction of mobile platforms in Europe and North America.

The forum will comprise eight specialised workshops, each covering 16 hours arranged in two days.

It will take place under the supervision and follow-up of the eGovernment Authority as well as the coordination of NGOs, specialised institutes and international organisations. - TradeArabia News Service
