Batelco signs deal to back Bahraini entrepreneurs
Manama, April 13, 2014
Batelco and the Bahrain Chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organisation (EO Bahrain) have announced a strategic partnership to promote the concept of entrepreneurship among Bahrainis.
The telecom service provider, represented by Al Dana Club for the third consecutive year, is supporting EO Bahrain as part of its commitment to the business community and the development of the national economy, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
An agreement was signed between Batelco consumer division general manager Muna Al Hashimi and EO Bahrain president Mahmood Al Yousif.
"We support EO Bahrain's endeavours through actively taking part in a number of key events organised by their chapter and providing them with all sorts of assistance in terms of knowledge and experience," Al Hashimi said.
Al Yousif said they welcomed Batelco as the diamond sponsor of EO Bahrain that aimed at supporting entrepreneurs.
"Both groups recognise the value of quality learning opportunities, exemplified by the many seminars and workshops EO Bahrain runs throughout the year by some of the world's leading authorities and influencers, who are invited to cover subjects encompassing the whole circle of the entrepreneur; addressing our engagement with our community, our family, our business and ourselves," said Al Yousif.
EO Bahrain regularly holds various "learning events" for its members and their guests in which leading business and inspirational speakers are invited to share their knowledge. It is part of a global network of more than 9,500 business owners in more than 40 countries.
With the new collaboration, Al Dana Club, that has popular entrepreneurs, will enjoy benefits of events and seminars organised by EO Bahrain. - TradeArabia News Service
