Microsoft will demonstrate the Windows 8.1 update, which allows users to rediscover cloud connectivity through the SkyDrive and the updated Windows Store.

The official said the company is also a "Diamond" sponsor of the Bahrain e-Government Forum 2014, under the ambit of which the IT Expo is being held.

"This comes as part of our commitment to Bahrain, the government and people. Each year, the Bahrain IT Expo brings to the kingdom a unique platform to experience all the latest innovations.
