Bahrain's T-Linx signs deal with Dutch firm
Manama, May 26, 2014
Bahrain-based technology consultancy, T-Linx Technology Solutions Architects has signed a co-operation agreement with LZ Group, a Dutch information and communications technology (ICT) company.
LZ Group is the developer of monPARK, a wireless solution combining mobile-based parking payment platforms and mobile-based applications to reduce congestion.
A two-year collaboration between the two companies will see smart parking technology solutions being brought to Bahrain and the wider GCC region with the introduction of monPARK, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
The Economic Development Board (EDB) played a key role in the partnership, as part of its efforts to create a diversified economy.
"Through agreements such as these, Bahrain is able to embrace new ICT solutions, and the EDB actively looks for ways to support local businesses and introduce them to international companies looking to invest in Bahrain and the region," said EDB executive director for business development Vivian Jamal.
T-Linx Technology Solutions Architects chief executive Waleed Khalaf said the partnership would help the company to increase its range of service offering.
"Having access to leading international technology solutions with strong local support is key to the success of any project, and we believe that through our collaboration with LZ Group, we will achieve the winning formula to benefit our customers," he stated.
LZ Group chief executive Dragan Zivkovic said Bahrain's central location made it the perfect place to access the wider GCC area.
"The additional value of having a local partner will help us understand the needs of the market, and provide local and regional clients with the necessary after-sales support and project management, thus delivering a truly individual experience to each project," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
