Viva Bahrain, InterContinental in strategic deal

Viva Bahrain, a leading telecom operator, InterContinental Regency Bahrain, an iconic 5-star hotel, have signed a three-year strategic partnership.

As part of the agreement, Viva will be the exclusive telecommunications partner provisioning Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), fixed and mobile services to the Hotel and its guests.

The partnership agreement was announced and signed by Michael Koth, general manager – regional general manager Bahrain & Kuwait for IHG Northern Gulf and Ulaiyan Al Wetaid, chief executive officer of Viva Bahrain.

Al Wetaid said: “We are pleased to be the exclusive telecommunications partner of the InterContinental Regency allowing us to empower the Hotel and its customers with higher speed via Viva’s robust and secure backbone network. The partnership will also facilitate both entities to exchange our range of products and services, and share the best levels of service with our customers.”

“We are glad to attend this press conference and sign another great line of credit for InterContinental Regency Bahrain and Viva Bahrain,” said Koth.

“Today’s signature is a milestone in the relations between both entities and this new step demonstrates the progress of a fruitful cooperation.
