$100m network upgrade boosts Zain growth

Manama, July 9, 2014

Zain, a leading telecom services operator in Bahrain, said a $100 million investment in a new network has powered its growth this year.
The telecom firm said the upgrade ensured optimal customer experience for mobile, smartphone, home and broadband along with enterprise solutions customers.
“We are pleased with the strides we have made as an organisation throughout the first half,” said Zain Bahrain general manager Mohammed Zainalabedin.
“Despite a challenging year, we continue to see tremendous growth in data. We look forward to continuing to be an integral part of the overall growth of the kingdom and to solidifying our leadership presence in the telecom community throughout the year and beyond,” he added.
“Along with expanding our state-of-the-art network coverage, Zain Bahrain has also added additional features and services to its portfolio, offering customers a whole new realm of choices such as HD Voice and 4G LTE capabilities,” remarked Zainalabedin.
"The telecom market is led by the needs and wants of consumers. Today they are accustomed to choice and demand the same level of flexibility when it comes to their communication needs," he stated.
“They want to choose from a range of packages that best suit their lifestyle and a wider choice of handsets,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
