Ericsson signs technical deal with Vodafone Egypt

Ericsson has signed a three-year managed services agreement with Vodafone Egypt to deliver operational efficiency and boost its network availability in the greater Cairo area.

With this agreement, Vodafone Egypt will avail network field maintenance services and improved quality of its network using Ericsson’s technologies and innovations, a statement said.

Osama Said, chief technology officer Vodafone Egypt, said: “Ericsson has proved a steadfast partner throughout our years of partnership. With this agreement, we aim to achieve world class network quality with the most innovative solutions that best serve our customers’ needs.”

With more than 36.3 million customers subscribed to its services, Vodafone Egypt’s newest partnership with Ericsson will see the company support the National ICT Strategy. – TradeArabia News Service
